<\/a>First Evidence of The Crossing Guys<\/p><\/div>\n
They were first sighted in cave drawings in 1897 by Dr. Herzig Felbein. At first thought to be just smoke markings it was later determined that they were in fact deliberate makings made by sentient beings.<\/p>\n
Many researchers have tried to understand more about the cultural environment of these creatures and what made them tick (beyond an obvious desire to cross).<\/p>\n
Many theories were advanced, but not much hard data emerged.<\/p>\n
Recent startling discoveries seem to hint that this civilization is in fact quite alive and well and possibly living among us.<\/p>\n
Several unrelated observers have had similar observations in different locations and different places. If this turns out to be true it is quite amazing that we have not been aware of them sooner.<\/p>\n
<\/a>Using a polorizing filter it is possible to see Crossing guys go about their business during the day<\/p><\/div>\n
What little we know of them can be mostly attributable to Dr. Melvin Brooks of Durham NC. (coincidentally, through a bizarre turn of events. Dr. Brooks grandfather was responsible for Dr. Felbein’s untimely demise in an unexplained sequence of events involving an infected toe and a very large cauliflower).<\/p>\n
Dr. Brooks has been spending much of his time devising methods of observation, developing theories about The Crossing Guys and assembling all the knowledge we currently have about TCG (The Crossing Guys). He is also working on an entry for the Encyclopedia Britannica.<\/p>\n
<\/a>Crossing guys use their two dimentionality as camoflage<\/p><\/div>\n
Besides their obvious drive to cross, the Crossing Guys are astonishingly two dimensional. Almost absolutely so. Dr. Brooks surmises that this has been their main means of protection via almost instantaneous non-visibility.<\/p>\n
This also contributes to the popular opinion that they lack character and appear in fiction in less rounded out personalities.<\/p>\n

Their meeting points are most ubiquitous, yet until pointed out most people tend to ignore them. Scientists theorize that the signage marking the meeting places is akin to our rotary club signs (‘meet every wednesday at the holiday inn’). Though what they do when they congregate is still a mystery.<\/p>\n
Another open question is their means of communications. Facing one another leaves them virtually invisible to each other, so it is unclear whether they are even aware of any others of their species.<\/p>\n
It might be each is completely certain that he is the only one in existence. (though that contradicts some other evidence scientists are looking at).<\/p>\n

Using specially developed optical means Dr. Brooks discoverd that Crossing guy meet up near their congretating points lining our streets at nights. It is assumed these locations have some religious meaning to the crossing guys, or a part of some sexual ritual.<\/p>\n
In any case the big questions we all should be asking ourselves are: what is it that they want here? How did they get here and when?<\/p>\n
Dr. Brooks does not have any clear answers to those and he goes back and forth between theories. One stating that they are the next step in evolution the two dimensional direction we are all going to be taking.<\/p>\n

The other that they are a step above vegetables and that they lack any concious thought. This last has brought Dr. Brooks much criticism since attempts of emulating our cultural icons was observed recently.<\/p>\n
<\/a>They are among us. Just try to mind your own business<\/p><\/div>\n
What, if anything should we be doing?<\/p>\n
This of course is unclear. Even though there is absolutely no evidence that one may turn into a Crossing Guy or that Crossing Guys have anything but none aggressive thoughts. Why take a chance?<\/p>\n
Here are several things you can do to avoid that risk:<\/p>\n

- Try not to hang around crossing guys meeting places for too long, just cross and leave.<\/li>\n
- Always wash your hands.<\/li>\n
- Try and keep up to date on all Crossing Guys knowledge.<\/li>\n
- If someone you know seems very two dimensional… Be careful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
